The design of the new INPI headquarters cultivates both openness to the city and intimacy within the building. It values the building's relationship with the environment for the well-being of its occupants and to minimize energy needs. For this project, we combined the ancient half-timbered technique with the recent technique of bioclimatic architecture.

On the façade, large windows favor contact with the outside and natural light. Inside, a courtyard houses a lush garden, the “ecological heart” of the project. Visible from the façade, it blends in with the building's contemporary lines and wooden structure. All the workspaces have a flexible layout (open or closed).

For optimum comfort and energy savings, a geothermal device and a solar panel cover complete this HQE® positive energy building.
